Forward Pass
Basic / Responsive. The starter style. You use a yoyo that comes back when you tug the string.
How to do it
- Hold the yoyo at your side, palm facing back.
- Swing your arm forward and let go.
- The yoyo will shoot out in front of you.
- Tug when the string is fully out.
- Catch it palm-up.
Tips
Let go around waist height. Aim straight ahead.
The physics
Your swing throws the yoyo forward. When you tug, the string winds back up and the yoyo comes home.
