Offstring Bind
Offstring. The yoyo is NOT tied to the string. You throw it in the air and catch it on the string, kind of like a diabolo.
How to do it
- Have the yoyo spinning on the string.
- Make a small loop near the gap.
- Push the loop into the response area.
- Pull so the string winds around the axle.
- Catch the yoyo.
Tips
The yoyo has to be centered on the string before you bind.
The physics
Same idea as a normal bind: the response pads grab the loop and wind the string up.
