Drop in the Bucket
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Get into a bucket mount, often from Jade Whip or wrist tricks.
- Open up the bucket shape with both hands.
- Let the yoyo sit on the inner bottom string.
- Hop, roll, or dismount through the opening.
Tips
Keep the bucket nice and wide. A skinny bucket snags.
The physics
The yoyo rests on an inside string while the outside strings shape the bucket.
