Kwijibo
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Start in trapeze.
- Pop the yoyo up.
- Cross your hands while the yoyo is in the air.
- Catch it on a crossed-arm mount.
- Pop it up again.
- Uncross your hands or move into the next mount.
- Dismount.
Tips
Pop high enough that you have time to cross your hands. Move them quickly and confidently.
The physics
While the yoyo is in the air, you have time to rearrange the strings underneath it before it lands.
