Revolutions
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Start in trapeze or another open mount.
- Swing the yoyo around your other hand in a big circle.
- Keep the string tight enough to hold the circle.
- Either land it back on the string or move into another mount.
Tips
Make a round circle, not a squashed oval. Keep the yoyo facing the same way.
The physics
The tight string pulls the yoyo inward, which is what keeps it going in a circle instead of flying off.
